Join Presbyterian Manor for a free virtual event on May 19 to explore how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s, learn to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and identify strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage of the disease. The event is one in a series of webinars exploring Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and some of the most important topics of concern to caregivers and those who are experiencing the disease.

Presbyterian Manor Art is Ageless® Exhibit and reception features senior artists

Local senior artists will be celebrated April 26 through 29 at Rolla Presbyterian Manor, as the community hosts its annual Art is Ageless® exhibit and continues to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Art is Ageless® program. Works will be on exhibit at the community for residents only. The Art is Ageless exhibit will be held virtually for friends of the program on the community’s Facebook page. Winners will be announced at 2 p.m. April 29 on Facebook Live.

Rolla Presbyterian Manor will partner with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter to host a virtual event series throughout 2021. Log in to learn about property and planning, health and wellness, and general education. The series is part of the Just Ask Lifelong Learning events offered by Presbyterian Manor of Mid-America (PMMA) communities.
