FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
FIND OUT WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions from those interested in our assisted living neighborhood. Read on to find out more about Rolla Presbyterian Manor. If there’s a question we haven’t answered here, contact us today.

When is the right time to move into an Assisted Living community?

When seniors reach the point where they need a little extra help with daily tasks, they sometimes wonder if they are ready for an assisted living community. Perhaps, the concern is costs, or the hassle of moving, or perhaps they associate assisted living with nursing homes. We know it can be a difficult, deeply personal decision, but we will say that an assisted living community is far from a nursing home. Our seniors maintain active social lives, and they set their own daily schedules. They live in private apartments but enjoy having a maintenance-free community and the little bit of extra help that comes with assisted living. We are here to support you while you live the way you want to live.

What are my Assisted Living options?

We offer beautiful studio and one-bedroom apartments. We do not have any two-bedroom apartments for assisted living.

Do you have additional storage?

We do offer small storage areas, or we can direct you to convenient storage units nearby. In addition, we can provide expert assistance in rightsizing. A move of this kind usually requires anticipating future needs and making some tough decisions about furnishings and possessions. We can help you in planning. We will work with you personally to ensure the choices you make are right for you and consistent with the way you want live.

How do your fees work?

Monthly assisted living fees begin at $4,973, based on floor plan and level of services needed. A second-person fee applies for double occupancy, and it varies based on level of services needed. Contact us to learn more and take the next step in your journey.

Do you take Medicaid?

Medicaid does not apply to assisted living.

What types of security do you offer?

We are a 24/7 secure facility with around-the-clock team members. Cameras around the building and wandering alarms add extra security.

Do you offer a meal plan?

Dining at Rolla Presbyterian Manor is a restaurant-style experience where you choose the meals you want to eat. The breakfast menu offers a choice in how you want to start the day. Lunch and dinner offerings include two main course options, or order from our a la carte menu featuring hamburgers, BLTs, grilled cheese, a variety of soups and a selection of breakfast items available all day. A daily soup and salad bar are also delectable options. Monthly fees include breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

Are pets allowed?

We know pets are important, but we really want the opportunity to give our attention to you and care for you, so your pet friends must live elsewhere—but may come visit any time.

What are my transportation options?

If you have been driving before you move into Rolla Presbyterian Manor, you may continue to drive. We also provide scheduled transportation for medical appointments..

Can residents leave the campus?

Absolutely. We do request that you give us plenty of notice to prepare medications so that if you are gone during a medication time, you have medications available. We also ask that loved ones sign the resident out of the building at the nurses station.

Can I have a refrigerator and coffee maker?

Yes, we do allow dorm size refrigerators in the rooms. Coffee makers are not allowed because of the potential of them being left on and fire hazard, but you may have a thermal coffee pot that can be filled from the dining room and taken to the room.
