Our Leadership Team

The day-to-day operation of Rolla City Presbyterian Manor is led by dedicated professionals on the leadership team who bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise to their positions. As employees of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, our promise to you is to live our mission by:

Ann-caudill

Ann Caudill, Executive Director

Ann has been with Rolla Presbyterian Manor since November 1982 when she joined us as office manager. Ann holds a bachelor’s degree in biological science from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and is a licensed nursing home administrator. She is a member of St. Patrick’s Church.

Freeland-joelle

Joelle Freeland, Marketing Director/Senior Living Counselor

Joelle joined Rolla Presbyterian Manor as marketing director and admissions in May 2009. She previously spent more than 18 years in banking with Seller-Sexton Mortgage, Town and Country Bank, Central Federal and League City Bank and Trust in various positions. She graduated from Columbia College with an Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree in 2005, and she earned a master’s degree in business administration from Webster University in 2007. Joelle facilitates an Alzheimer’s support group at Presbyterian Manor, served as the 2015 Alzheimer’s Walk chairman for the Rolla area and is the 2016 missions chairman for the Alzheimer’s Association. She is actively involved in the Rolla Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Star, and the United Methodist Church where she serves on the Outreach Committee, sings in the choir, is board member and past president of United Methodist Women, serves in children’s ministries and has performed mission work in Jamaica. She has been featured on News Radio KTTR’s “Morning Mayors” talk show. Joelle is past president of Business and Professional Women; member and board member of Kiwanis; past president and secretary of Parent Teachers of America; and past president and past treasurer of Beta Sigma Phi service organization.

Joy Parker, Activity Director

Joy joined Presbyterian Manor in August 2012 in housekeeping before becoming an activity assistant. In January 2017, she was promoted to Activity Director. Prior to joining the Presbyterian Manor team, she was a missionary in Ghana, Africa, taught elementary school and was a personal assistant for seniors in her hometown. She has a bachelor’s of science degree in elementary education from Indiana University. She received her Activity Professional Board Certification in 2014 and is also a certified nurse aide. She is a Seed Ministry member and an Activities Directors of Missouri member.

Payne-jim

Jim Payne, Environmental Services Director

Jim joined Rolla Presbyterian Manor as maintenance technician in October 1990. He became Environmental Services Director in February 1992. Prior to that time, Jim was a department manager for Kroger Company for 10 years. He also was a real estate sales agent with Investment Realty for five years. Jim received his training in building trades at Rolla Technical Institute.

Payne-carmen

Carmen Payne, Dining Services Director

Carmen joined Rolla Presbyterian Manor as a certified nurse aide in November 2008 after relocating from Tennessee. In 2009, she became Rolla Presbyterian Manor’s assistant activity director, a position she held until becoming the Manor’s dining services director in 2013. Previously, Carmen spent a decade employed at McDonald’s Restaurants and seven years as a job coach for disabled workers. She entered the food services industry after closing her hair salon in 1990. In addition to an education in cosmetology, Carmen studied child development at Tennessee Tech. She has received training in social services, activities and food services.

Tavenner-hilda

Hilda Tavenner, Human Resources Director

Hilda started with Rolla Presbyterian Manor in November 1995 in marketing before accepting the position of human resource director. Previously, Hilda worked as customer service representative and in accounting at several local banks in mid-Missouri. Her previous jobs also include office manager at Briarwood LTC Nursing Care, personnel director at Missouri Baptist Hospital-Sullivan, and office manager at Glo-Lite (Lennox) Co. During the time she held these positions, Hilda also owned and operated her own business, Quality Accounting & Tax Service. She studied accounting at East Central College and holds human resource certification from Southwest Missouri State University-Springfield. Her professional and civic involvement includes membership in the Society of Human Resource Management, the Missouri Employer Committee, and serving on the board of Rolla Technical Center CNA/CMT Advisory Board. Hilda is a member of the South Center Missouri Nurses Coalition.

Teal-allen

Allen Teal, Business Office Manager/Chaplain

Allen joined Presbyterian Manor in May 2011 as chaplain. He also serves as business office manager. He continues to serve as lead pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Cuba, Mo. His background also includes leading congregations in Texas, Illinois and other Missouri communities. Allen has extensive experience in technology. He served as computer services manager for Statistical Tabulating Corporation in St. Louis, and he worked as manager of computer operations for the St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District. He holds an associate’s degree in business and accounting from Mineral Area College, Park Hills, Missouri. He is member of the Rolla Ministerial Alliance and is a member and past five-term president of Cuba Ministerial Alliance; co-founding member of Crawford County Coalition for non-profits in Cuba; member of the Cuba Chamber of Commerce; and an ordained minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri. Allen also represents Crawford County on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Ozarks Community Action Agency, an eight-county regional not-for-profit that administers the Headstart and other low-income programs for the area.

Valerie Eades, Social Services Designee

Valerie is a familiar face at Presbyterian Manor and was named the social services designee in October 2016. She first worked at Presbyterian Manor in 2007 as a nurse aide. She left to ride with her husband, who is an over-the-road truck driver. After deciding she missed her children and grandchildren, she returned to Rolla and was rehired at Presbyterian Manor in 2010 and worked as a CNA and later a certified medication aide. She has been the coordinator in Tranquility House, the secure memory care neighborhood.

Krystal Grisham, RN, Minimum Data Set Coordinator

Krystal joined Presbyterian Manor in 2002 as a certified nurse’s aide. She worked her way through certifications as a certified medication technician, licensed practical nurse and registered nurse. She was promoted to MDS coordinator in April 2016. She received her CNA, CMT and LPN through Rolla Technical Center and her RN through Houston Technical College.

Jennifer Shaw, Health Services Director

Jennifer joined Presbyterian Manor as health services director in November 2016. She has seven years of experience in health care, including more than a year as health services director at another community. She has experience with conditions such as Parkinson’s, dementia, diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s and Padget’s disease. Other responsibilities included leading certified nurse aide training programs, coordinating quality improvement activities and motiving the health care team. She received her LPN and associate of science in nursing from Texas County Technical College in Houston, Mo. She has been greatly influenced by her mother, who was a certified nurse’s aide for many years.

Missy

Missy, Pet Therapy Specialist

Missy is Rolla Presbyterian Manor’s pet therapy dog. Missy has won the hearts of residents and employees, who have seen her grow and mature since she first arrived as an 8-week-old puppy in November 2004. After attending obedience training, Missy became well mannered and fond of doing tricks for residents. Her favorite treats are bacon and cheeseburgers. She enjoys napping in the office of our health services director, chasing birds and rabbits on the Manor campus, and taking strolls in our garden.
