Lifelong Learning

Exploration and discovery are a vital part of living well and play a key role in healthy aging. In fact, studies show that people who stay stimulated intellectually throughout life are typically happier and healthier. Residents of Rolla Presbyterian Manor routinely participate in a variety of activities that keep them actively engaged in the community and the world.

  • Painting classes by Jan Roberts, Thursday at 3 p.m. Jan teaches both ceramic painting and freehand painting.
  • Card making classes by Madonna Woelk, first Monday of every month at 1 p.m.

Just Ask

Our residents have ample opportunity to pursue their interests in our well-stocked library. The library offers an abundance of resources including large print books.

In addition, we offer Just Ask educational sessions to the general public as well as our residents, presenting the latest information on topics of interest to older adults. Topics include senior fitness, how to recognize the warning signs of Alzheimer's disease and heart disease, financial planning and how to avoid scams.
